Finally 8 Days of Tekong Field Camp is over ! and left 16more days to pop.

Feeling both excited and sad too.

Excited as we will be sorted into different vocation . Leader/Medic/Signaller/Demolition aka Boatman or Weapon Course. And Best of all we will be doing our BAC. (Basic Air Borne) ! Where as for sad its because some of us will be posted out to other units and most of us will be selected into different course.

Alright bear with me cause this gonna be a super long entry with just words LOL.

Gonna back track abit lol.

Marsiling Camp (2days 1night)

The first outfield we went was at marsiling a kinda small forest just beside mandai zoo @_@. Anw it was a pretty good experience. Upon reaching the forest i was stunned . yea lol. i was like uh huh ? wtf we really haf to slp in such a “jungle” a mini one lol. And yeah built our basha and place our barang barang. Followed by digging self scrip and doing some jungle ops training. Positing and formation etc.

First time eating combat ration. I was impress lol. got dessert got chicken spag , lou mai gai , black pepper chicken spag. Well it wasnt as bad as i thought ! lol. The nxt following day we had our 12km route march up and down hill on rocky surface. It was a pretty bad experience.  Two words = DAMN SHAG ! watching my fellow buddies shag out but i’m glad that all of us manage to endure through out.

Ultimate Detachment Challenge

Immediately after our field camp the nxt day we had Utimate Detachment Challenge. Meaning competition of bunk vs bunk among 16bunk from 4 platoons.  And of course my bunk is my platoon’s dark horse hahaa.

There will be 4 Station.

Station 1: 400 Situp 400 Pushup 200 Pullup

Station 2: Carry Stretcher with two 20kg jelly can run 1.5km

Station 3: Leopard Crawl 50m with Rifle and Haversack

Station 4: Weapon Test

Lastly : 9km Walk

@_@ lol i was sick and nearly gave up through out. Kundos to my bunk mates who were always there to cheer me on. And glad that we manage to finish 6th in 2hrs and 51mins.  And overall timing my Platoon , Platoon 1 won the BEST Platoon !! wootz

Wasnt as xiong as i thought it would be as everything was arranged with adequate amount of rest time.

Crawl and stuffs lyk tat with live rounds firing on top.

And lastly Operation Thunderstorm !

kana tekan until shag out lol. tio bombard at 1.20am followed by running out with FBO falling in at e field and get tortured lol. Roll,Crawl,Situp,Pushup,Jumping Jet,Helicopter you name it lol.  Followed by 5km route march followed by doing 7mission and back to the ferry terminal. I think overall abt 20km ? lol

And yeah ! Jungle hat here i come !!

Now left IPPT/SOC to go !   =D
